The Vanishing Rush Grass

All rush products are crafted by skilled weavers from Yuanli. In the past, rush was a major industry in the town: planting, post-harvest processing, weaving, and retail formed a complete industrial chain that supported generations of Yuanli residents. With the rise of petrochemical industries and the replacement of traditional weaving by the textile industry, rush fields gradually disappeared, and the craft of rush weaving slowly faded as master artisans passed on.
